彭廷莹出生于中国江西省吉安市,在北京大学取得电子学专业和应用数学专业的双学士学位,后赴英国牛津大学学习生物医学工程专业并取得博士学位,成为当年牛津大学工程学系最年轻的博士(博士论文请点击此处下载,论文题目:“Signal processing methods for the analysis of cerebral blood flow and metabolism”)。除长期在牛津大学从事博士及博士后的研究工作外,彭廷莹还作为交换学者到哈佛大学医学院从事过短期学术项目研究。

彭廷莹在博士和博士后期间的研究领域包括生物医学工程涉及的许多重要方面,例如医学图像/信号后处理,数据分析,特征提取,系统识别,数学建模,计算机仿真等等。她已经在国际核心期刊上发表多篇学术论文,多次参加国际会议并作研究报告。

彭廷莹的工作重点为在其技术领域内协助我们的专利律师进行专利申请方面的工作。

彭廷莹的母语为中文。除中文之外能熟练地使用英文工作,并能阅读德文的材料。
